Paradise Island, Bahamas: I guess you can say I have a problem with simply being wherever I am without thinking of where else I could be. There’s also the issue of me not being able to relax fully without feeling the need to be doing something. Instead of fighting these two unique (read: annoying) characteristics of myself, I decide to embrace them. So, this evening, as I sit on the balcony of my hotel room, listening to the waves rushing in and out of the beach below me, I am taking the opportunity to look through photos I took on a trip to Italy in June of 2006. It’s something I’ve been meaning to do for awhile now (like for three years!) and since I have no other real agenda (other than my duties tomorrow), I figure… why not now.
I hope to eventually put these photos together in a picturesque book (ala “My London Eye”), but for now, I will saunter down memory lane and visit some of the places where I learned how to smile again.
