Bring It On, Brighton

Brighton, England: We arrive in Brighton around 2:30am, which means everything is dark. When I awake a few hours later, I open my window shades to see WATER. I obviously didn't research this area much, so had no idea we'd be in a costal area.

Waiting for the taxi to arrive at the hotel to take us to the gig, I look across the street to see a nearby hotel. Coincidence? Or just a needed reminder of priorities?

While on the way to the gig, I contemplate the email I received from one of the artists.... she is sick... there's a possibility we might cancel....

What to do.

a) call awesome promoter to talk to him about options
b) have runner purchase copious amounts of Throat Comfort and get local doc to prescribe steroids IMMEDIATELY
c) power walk on the pier to get at last a few pics before we bolt out of town
d) all of the above

mmmm... I think?

l.o.v.e. at it's finest.

friends in low places (as in, he just got shat on by a bird before this pic was taken).

and the show went on! with perseverance and encouragement and 'roids... we made a sold out crowd VERY happy.
