Greensboro, NC: It is always typical to be staying at a really amazing hotel on the days when I just have enough time to shower, repack and head over to the gig. Such was the case in Greensboro, when we rolled up to the
Proximity Hotel. Not only did it just
look hip, but it also had the friendly-but-not-too-hyper doorman, the hotel-lounge-trance music playing in the lobby AND turned out to be one of the top
green hotels in the country.
After a hot shower (with
Aveda products, no less), I headed back to the bus to wait for my chariot (in the form of a
runner van), but not before I caught a glimpse of just another perk to this surprisingly fantastic hotel -- the
London-taxi-styled shuttle.
