In a bunk on a bus somewhere between Tulsa and Nashville: My first post *via iPhone from my moving sanctuary. Not as easy to type on this contraption, but beats trying to finagle my computer out of its Incase bag in the top-passenger-front bunk. During the last few days of work, I've been reflecting on how lucky I am to travel as part of my living. Though I miss the boy like mad when I'm gone and can't help but groan when I get the baby shower or girls' night out invite on a Saturday (which is, in most cases, my work week), there's a sense of freedom when I see the downtown skyline of a new city we are preparing to enter.
Of course, because I'm working, I don't get much / any downtime to explore these unfamiliar places. Most of the time, in fact, I only see the inside of an arena or the parking lot of the entrance to a hotel building. (Though if I wasn't there for work, I would be paying for the transportations & accommodations on my own!)
This week, I decided to snap a few shots of the cities I'm in... that, is the view from my hotel room. They're not the most glamorous of photos, but at least I can look back some day and say "I've been there." That is, at least for a good 3 hours in the hotel room before I had to move onto the next location!

*NOTE: though I could type out this post on my iPhone all links and photos had to be added from my computer. Someday I'll figure that part out...
