Kansas City, MO: Never say never. Cliche, but true. I had sworn up & down that I would never do a van tour and yet, here I am, hoisting myself up into the jump seat of a Sprinter, headed to the next gig in another Missouri town. I was called to be a fill-in and I had the time... why not? Besides, this van has wireless internet, captain's seats and there are only 4 of us. Plus I'm navigating, not driving (sorry, a bit too much pressure, plus there was that van incident in 1998.....), so it's actually not a bad way to spend a few days.
I think this is how the other half lives. Or some other cliche like that.
