A Moment of Silence

Nashville, TN: I'm getting ready for the hometown show today, which will be a bit more hectic than normal, but I'm still doing the normal amount of running around, double checking lists and emails, recharging the phone battery when needed. This is a familiar scene to what I was doing 9 years ago today. However, I am taking a moment right now to simply stop. Remember. Breathe. Pray. For those who died and for those families that are still living with the loss.

And then I found this online (I still can't believe the power of youtube somedays). A moment of silence during a Backstreet Boys concert (which I never thought could be possible amidst thousands of screaming girls) for Danny Lee, our carpenter who was on the first flight into the World Trade Center that fateful day. I was there, on stage, with the rest of the touring family, and I realized then we MUST stop. Remember. Breathe. Pray. Then and for the rest of our lives.
