'Tis The Season

On a bus somewhere between Columbia, SC and Birmingham, AL: Hanging in the back lounge of the bus, posting m&g pics, doing best I can to keep my eyes open just a little bit longer.... then the little drummer boy wants to play me some music. The last thing I want to do after an entire day of live music is listen to more, but for what it's worth, he was the one that practically forced me to watch what would end up to be one of my favorite movies of all time, so I figure he actually might have some good insight.

He put on his iTunes and just let this album play in the background, so unobtrusive that it blended in with the hum of the generator, yet so kindly compelling that I would have to stop in between photoshopping photos and ask him to "play that line one more time." I went to youtube to see what said band looked like and found it was, in fact, the same duo who had starred in the aforementioned movie and whose songs had once given me hope.

And so, once again, my band guy gives me another piece of art to potentially obsess over. In this case, 'tis the swell season....
