But before I had a chance to pout too much, I got a note from the boss, asking if anyone was interested in going the next day. Well, if it's a
work-thing, then I definitely will
have to go! Knowing we couldn't just show up at the front door of the open-to-the-public location, I searched my Mail program for the words "hall of fame." Sorting through thousands of emails since July 4, 2007 (the fateful day of the
computer crash), up popped a handful from Shelby Morrison, Exhibitions Assistant & Coordinator of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum. Bingo!
Last time I was there (back in 2007), Shelby was our tour guide when my
former boss took a few of us to see the latest exhibits at the Hall. We also got a private tour of the
Vault, where items first live after they are received and before they are presented to the public. Some of these items are truly remarkable and my favorite one from that time was John Lennon's last passport.
