100 Little Pleasures of (Touring) Life: #3

Lubbock, TX: Walking off the bus this morning in flip flops and t-shirt on led me to construct my latest installment of 100 Little Pleasures of Touring Life:

#3: Having much better weather in the city you're in than in the city you usually reside in.

Granted, I'm normally only in a new city for one day and the only time I actually get outside is the walk from the bus to the hotel, then from the runner van into the venue. But even in those short spans, it's nice to feel the warmth of the sun and the coolness of the breeze, when normally, I'm bundling up to fight the cold or duck in from out of the rain.

For instance, today in Lubbock, the weather forecast looks like this:

And in Nashville, it looks like this:

So technically it's going to be a little chillier here tonight, but with no rain or thunder, I bet it'll still feel nicer.

And then I'm back to Nashville weather for a few days... but very grateful to have had a little sun along the way.
