Oh, Mexico

Napa, CA: I love taking photos. And I love working on them in photoshop. But when I take a TON of photos (which is most of the time) and I want to spend a LOT of time sorting and sifting and fixing and tweaking (which I don't have much of), I end up having only half of my photos ready to display. Which means I'm not going to show any of them, since I'm a bit of an all-or-nothing kind of girl. (At least with photos, anyway....)

Because of all that, I'm sitting on photos from Italy from 2006, Israel from 2008 and an entire round-the-world trip from... honestly, I'd have to see a picture just to remember when. I'm making a conscious effort to put some of my perfectionism aside and just get them UP. Even if they may not be exactly what I was hoping they'd be, they do still capture a moment in my life that was special or poignant or... simply, mine.

The additional beauty of folder full of photos is that it holds the sweet memories you can return to whenever you want, regardless of how much time has passed or what the future holds.

Enjoy my latest photo posting adventure... Christmas in Mexico, 2010.
