Halifax, NS Canada: Why this took me how-many-years to figure out, I'll never understand, but I'm so glad I finally figured it out (and my band is pretty happy too!).

#13: Bringing your own power strip to the airport.
If you're lucky enough to spot the one outlet (with two plugs) hidden on a stone column, you're probably not lucky enough to be the FIRST one to discover it. My own power strip now allows me to charge my computer and phone AND cuts out on possible band whining. Win win for everyone.
(Wonder how much I should be charging for power now....)
