On a bus somewhere between Green Bay, WI and Ft. Wayne, IN: Despite my normally high stress level and some seemingly out-of-the-blue attacks from those who are supposedly on the same team as me, life is really good. I'm finally getting caught up with my daily duties after my three week paid vacation and have been getting some very kind praise from those I encounter on the road. A certain someone is back in the picture and life is simply better with him in it than without him. M&D stopped by for a lunch on Sunday and it was the perfect fix I needed for a little parental love.

And to top it all off, the place I've spent most of my energy focused on over the past two years (which has given me more energy than I ever thought I could get!), Thistle Farms, has officially asked me to become a board member. What that means, exactly, I'm still not 100% sure (glad I didn't have to apply for this job), but all I know is that I am so grateful and proud to become an official part of the community - or at least have a title that is a little more accredited than "blog queen."
