Dzień Dobry & Dobranoc

.
Kraków, Poland:  I'm having one of those moments where I desperately want to pass out on my European single bed (like my roommie, who is already enjoying much needed sleep on her single bed). But, I promised myself I would blog each day... even if it was to post a few photos of the latest adventures in the latest time zone (which happens to be CET, BTW).

So a quick visual overview of my Dzień Dobry:

LHR - MUC - KRK
(layover in Germany... first time!)

It's really happening....
boarding my plane to Kraków (or Krakau, as the sign says).

I made it!
(and finally got a little winter snow this year.)

Meeting up with our fabulous tour guide, Jakob.
(He's knowledgable, organized and has some great stories too.)

C+C in Old Town.

Enjoying the latte for caffeine and warmth.

Me, at the entrance to Krakow.

This sign (and spelling of 'alcohol') gives me so much pleasure.

Pierógis!  Just like Grandma Snell makes.

Enjoying some flavored vodka, compliments of a nearby restaurant.

Preparing to blog... in Polish!?
(I know some Christmas carols in the language, but I don't think I'm ready for more just yet....)

Mission accomplished!  And now, I'm off to bed so I can mentally prep for day 2 of the Poland tour: visiting the motherland.

Dobranoc, friends.
