International Multitasking

.
On a train between Zurich, Switzerland and Basel, Switzerland:

At the semi-last minute (ie. the day before, which, in my book feels like the last minute), we decided to forgo our flights from Zurich to Frankfurt (then car transfer to Mannheim) and instead, walk across the street to the train station, and take the train right to Mannheim (via Basel).

Besides avoiding: a van ride to the airport, going through long security lines, waiting around the terminal before boarding, getting stuck in a confined space with a bunch of strangers, then taking another vehicle to get to the final destination, we were able to see the countryside in comfort.

It was a perfect opportunity for me to enjoy the scenery of Switzerland... while working on my photos from Ireland.  I believe I’ve reached a new level of international multitasking.

And now, a few photos from Belfast, Ireland:

I get it, we're in Ireland.
But all the green?  Actually, it's kinda nice.

The Titanic was built here and set sail in 1912.
In honor of its 100 year anniversary,
they created the Titanic Belfast to open in April.

At this rate, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to wrap up Germany in Texas.
