Nashville, TN: Ahhhh. To be home again. If only for four days, I am loving just being in my own space and... putzing. Last night, I literally walked around my house, room to room, and just looked around. I've only been gone a month, but the knowledge that I'll be gone for another one (and another one and another one) is forcing me to soak in as much as I can.
When I arrived at the downstairs bathroom, I scanned my graffiti wall art (in the form of love notes written on chalkboard paint by visitors to my home). I have seen these same words time and again, until the new year comes and I wipe down the walls and start with a clean slate.
But then something caught my eye. In fact, it was a pair of eyes that caught my eye.
#37: Discovering surprise graffiti bathroom wall art upon returning home.
(one of the 100 Little Pleasures of (Touring) Life)
Looks like my sweet friend, Dave Wilson (of The Wilsons family portraits fame), had stopped in to check on my house while I was away and took the liberty of adding a few more love notes to my wall. My personal favorite was the pair of eyes looking directly into the shower. I'm pretty sure I'm going to shower upstairs while I'm here.
These four great notes are a close second to my all-time personal favorite sneak attack bathroom graffiti art: the entire Cougar Fight Song left for me by visiting sisters.
I look forward to more visitors and even if I'm not home, you can always leave me a surprise wall post.
The non-Facebook type of wall post, that is.
