100 Little Pleasures of (Touring) Life: #53

.
Regina, SK  Canada: The beauty of my job is that I can do it from anywhere as long as I have internet and a computer and/or iPhone. The scary part of my job is that if I don't have either one of these, I'm kinda screwed.

Thanks to the wonders of wifi, I'm able to travel through coffee shops and airports and hotels, being able to connect as soon as I open my computer. But even more importantly, while I'm traveling the road, in the gigantic tin can known as a tour bus, I am able to get online thanks to a box that provides internet service, even in the middle of nowhere.

One of the problems of this, however, is that when we're in a US tour bus and we cross the border to visit our neighbors to the north, internet prices skyrocket since, well, we're in another country. So much so, we end up turning off the wifi on the bus.

It turns out the best way to combat this issue is to travel throughout Canada... on a Canadian tour bus... which would allow the internet fees to be included in our rental cost.

#53: Bus internet... specifically in Canada
